Jay received a B.S. in Secondary Education and minors in Women’s Studies and Religion from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Before coming to ICAR, Jay spent time in China learning about US-China relations, visiting with NGOs, think tanks and university students. Jay has helped to coordinate and organize workshops and seminars on Peace and Justice for hundreds of people in his home city of Omaha.
Before moving to the Washington DC area, Jay spent time teaching High School and working in a Portrait Studio.
