Arienne Johnson McShane is the Program Officer of Media and Reconciliation Strategies at the Center for World Religions, Diplomacy, and Conflict Resolution. She has a Master’s of Divinity degree in Islam from Harvard Divinity School. Before attending Harvard she managed a local NGO in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso dedicated to community building, education, and social work in the HIV/Aids community. Her Master’s thesis titled “Identity Mapping: From Conflict Shaping Identities to Identity Shaping Peace” proposed an online resource for conflict zones that is tailored to deepening dialogues across “enemy” lines and guiding global insight about how identities, power, and violence are intertwined in any given context around the world.
At CRDC Arienne is launching a new department dedicated to channeling technological platforms into global peace building efforts. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or join our Facebook group PARTNERS4CHANGE to get involved in this exciting initiative.
