Nicholas R. Sherwood (Nick) is CRDC’s Fundraising Officer. In this position, he secures funding opportunities to support new and ongoing research and practice programs at CRDC. Nick is also a Ph.D. student in conflict analysis and resolution at GMU’s Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution, researching the psychological wellbeing of peacebuilders operating in active conflict zones. Nick holds an M.A. in anthropology of peace and human rights from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and B.A.s in psychology and political science from Christopher Newport University. He has worked at CRDC since 2019.
