Dr. Marc Gopin, Director of CRDC, lectured at Bahcesehir University in Istanbul, Turkey with Uluç Özülker, Vice Chairman of the Turkey-Europe Foundation, and the former Libyan Ambassador to Turkey; and Ömer Engin Lütem, President of the Center for Eurasian Studies, former President of the Institute of Armenian Studies, and Retired Ambassador.

Dr. Gopin spoke about the importance of understanding the evolution of political regimes throughout history, and how to focus on what is positive in the societies that can help to create change that will be sustainable in the future.  This is specifically related to the importance of the individual and the relationships that are forged up and down the different levels of societies that affect public decisions.
