Program Officer

Jennifer Durben has more than 8 years of experience in international relief and development in program management, program development and design and monitoring and evaluation.  She has worked for World Vision, ADRA Sri Lanka, World Learning and, most recently, the American Red Cross.  Following the 2005 Asia Tsunami she spent two years living and working in Sri Lanka managing tsunami recovery programs, where she experienced first hand the intersection of humanitarian assistance and conflict.  She has experience working on water and sanitation programs, nutrition and child health, disaster mitigation and early warning systems, psychosocial programs, education and child and youth focused programming.

Jennifer is pursuing a dual degree program at George Mason University with a Masters of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and a Masters of Social Work. She received her BA in International Studies, with an emphasis in peace and conflict studies at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia and is originally from Southern California.
